A 16-year-old boy has been shot and killed in Stockwell, South London. Police were called at 15:21 pm over reports of a shooting in Paradise Road, SW4. London’s Air Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service were also dispatched, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene, Met Police confirmed. An eyewitness told the Express that they heard three shots fired.
Superintendent Gabriel Cameron, who is leading the local policing response, said: “Local officers are on the scene gathering CCTV and speaking to witnesses to piece together what has happened. They will be supported by specialist homicide investigators shortly. Please rest assured we will work around the clock to identify and find those responsible.”
