King Charles has sparked a frenzy among royal fans as he appeared in a “cryptic” video clip shared by Buckingham Palace on the Royal Family’s official account. The video shows a royal military band playing music before showing views around Buckingham Palace.
The King is then seen walking to sit at the desk in his office at the royal residence in London – complete with an “ON AIR” sign. The post follows one uploaded on the Royal Family’s social media on Wednesday showing the vintage “ON AIR” sign. Fans were quick to comment on the social media post, with many speculating about what it could mean. One fan commented: “My heart can’t take all this cryptic post. Spill already!”
Another wrote: What is going on? [laughing-cry emoji] that’s really cool.”
A third commented: I’m so curious about this [curious-eyes emoji].”
Among the many fans intrigued by what the post means, another wrote: “Omg what’s happening [heart-eyed emoji] [laughing-cry emoji].. I love the intrigue [red-heart emoji].”
Earlier this week, the King tried his hand at gilding an antique dragon during a visit to the Royal Collection Trust’s Decorative Arts conservation workshop.
The royal, who is a keen artist, had a go at applying gold leaf to the ornate 19th century Chinese-inspired artefact which will go back on display to be seen by visitors in Buckingham Palace’s East Wing. During his visit, the King was also shown objects being conserved for the forthcoming exhibition The Edwardians: Age Of Elegance.
This visit came shortly after the King stepped out in his uniform on Tuesday – just hours after Meghan Markle‘s new eight-part show on Netflix was launched.
His Majesty, in his role as Commodore-in-Chief of Aircraft Carriers, visited HMS Prince of Wales at sea.
During his visit, the King met the ship’s company members during the final stages of their pre-deployment training in the Channel.
