Sarah Ferguson arrived in Switzerland just hours before her daughter Princess Beatrice made a milestone public appearance on Thursday evening.
The Duchess of York shared a video to her Instagram account on Thursday afternoon where she told her followers she was in Geneva, Switzerland.
Beatrice was expected to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January but pulled out of the event as she gave birth to her second daughter during the same week the event was taking place.
The princess gave birth to Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, several weeks early at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Central London on January 22.

Princess Beatrice made her first public appearance since giving birth at the Wonderland Gala on Thursday evening.
The 36-year-old royal attended the event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London alongside her husband Edoardo.
She was also joined by close friend and fellow charity patron Ellie Goulding.
Beatrice has been made patron of Borne, a charity dedicated to funding research into the causes of premature birth.

Athena is the second child of Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 41.
The proud father announced the birth on Instagram, describing his daughter as “tiny and absolutely perfect”.
He added that their hearts were “overflowing” with joy.
The King, the Queen and other members of the Royal family were said to be “delighted” with the news.

Athena is 11th in line to the throne.
She is the fourth grandchild of the Duke of York and his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York.
