It features a traditionally spiced hot cross bun loaf brimming with sweet sultanas, zesty orange and lemon peel.

Freshly baked in-store daily and served toasted with Cornish Salted Butter, Subway promises “a sweet and salty slice of perfection” with this new treat.

Those who prefer a “delicious savoury alternative” can tuck into Subway’s Cheesy Bacon Hot Cross Bun Toastie – available as either a Footlong or six-inch – topped with BBQ sauce.

Made with freshly baked Hot Cross Bun bread, it is filled with streaky bacon and double American-style cheese.

Both limited-edition items will be available until the end of April 2025, or while stocks last.

Customers can purchase them in-store or order online for delivery and click & collect via the Subway App.
