Over the last couple of years, Scott Jennings has burst onto the media landscape. He must be the only conservative at CNN, and he seems to appear on any and all of their programs. Jennings exemplifies the modern media scene: I don’t know how many people see him live on television, but millions see clips of the highlights of his debates with liberals on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms. Jennings has rapidly become one of the conservative movement’s most visible spokesmen.
Scott will be the keynote speaker at this year’s American Experiment Annual Dinner. More about that below. Last Thursday, I interviewed him on the American Experiment Podcast, which went public this afternoon. The first segment, as usual, features Kathryn Hinderaker and Grace Keating on the Minnesota news of the day; my interview of Jennings follows. I think you will find it an interesting conversation. Scott is engaging and a genuinely good guy. And–spoiler alert–I think there is a pretty good chance he may be the GOP candidate to fill Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat in 2026:
Now, about our Annual Dinner: it is on May 17, in Minneapolis. Scott Jennings will be our speaker, and we have some fun ideas for his presentation. I think it is going to be a great event. If you live within driving distance, you might consider attending. It is a fundraiser, of course, so it isn’t cheap. But dining out in general isn’t that cheap either, these days.
