The Week In Pictures: Direwolf of Wall Street Edition

The debate over tariffs dominated the news again this week. This time, the battleground was the stock market: down, up, down, up. Fortunes were made and lost, on paper, anyway. Where it goes from here is anyone’s guess.

Meanwhile, the Judicial Branch continued its effort to take over the Executive Branch. We don’t have a constitutional crisis yet, but we may have one before long. And stories that maybe should be dominating the news–the Houthis devastated, one-on-one arms talks with Iran, a secure border at last–are relegated to the back pages.

In Germany, a newspaper editor who posted a meme accusing the Interior Minister of hating free speech was jailed and fined over half his annual salary. In Germany, apparently, being right is not a defense.

Happily, America is still a land where you can post memes without fear of criminal prosecution. So here goes:
