‘Morally good man’ | Power Line

I have no use for Taylor Lorenz, the former Washington Post reporter. But, apparently, she did a video interview on CNN praising Luigi Mangione. He is the (alleged) murderer of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, shot on the street outside his hotel in midtown Manhattan back in December. John noted the Lorenz interview earlier.

Fox News quotes Lorenz from the CNN interview,

“Here’s this man who’s a revolutionary, who’s famous, who’s handsome, who’s young, who’s smart, he’s a person who seems like he’s this morally good man, which is hard to find,” Lorenz teased in a snippet that was shared on X.

The glamor of evil, or something. A good man is hard to find.

Meanwhile, in perhaps a completely unrelated event, the following occurred here in a Minneapolis suburb this morning, as local KARE-11 TV reported,

Minnetonka police said a suspect has been taken into custody “without incident” after prompting a large police response at the UnitedHealthcare campus in Minnetonka.

The Star Tribune adds,

Events unfolded just after 11 a.m., when an intruder was spotted near the campus on the 9700 block of Healthcare Lane. Several agencies responded to the scene.
