A woman was allegedly raped twice and sexually assaulted on the seafront of a popular seaside town, a court has heard. A man was arrested and charged after the alleged attack in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, on February 16.
Luis Brazao, 31, of Seafield Close, Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday where he is accused of raping the woman twice and two sexual assaults on the same occasion. Brazao, who spoke through a Portuguese interpreter, denied all the charges against him.
Judge Katharine Moore set a trial to begin on August 20, reports Great Yarmouth Mercury.
He has been remanded in custody.
