We’ve reported previously on two Democrat scandals in recent months: one, the questionable shenanigans of ActBlue, the Dems’ chief fundraising arm, and two, former President Joe Biden’s apparent use of an autopen to sign numerous executive orders and official documents—allegedly even pardons.

What is he so mad about? We’ll start with the ActBlue scandal. RedState’s Ward Clark explains:
Thursday afternoon, the official Rapid Response 47 X account broke the news that President Trump has signed an order cracking down on illegal “straw donor” political campaign funding schemes and foreign contributions, following an investigation into the matter by the Attorney General…. Here’s the really troubling part:
Further, there is evidence to suggest that foreign nationals are seeking to misuse online fundraising platforms to improperly influence American elections. A recent House of Representatives investigation revealed that a platform named ActBlue had in recent years detected at least 22 “significant fraud campaigns”, nearly half of which had a foreign nexus. During a 30-day window during the 2024 campaign, the platform detected 237 donations from foreign IP addresses using prepaid cards, indicating that this activity remains a pressing concern.

The autopen controversy, meanwhile, concerns reports that a mentally declining Biden—or to be more precise, his handlers—used a robotic signature pen for large numbers of documents, possibly including pardons, and may not even have been aware of what he was “signing.”
The Oversight Project, an arm of the right-wing think tank behind Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation, published a report last week claiming that Biden used an “autopen signature” across almost “every document we could find.”
For the organization, Biden’s use of the autopen to sign official documents would cast doubt over the former president’s ability to lead the country. “WHOEVER CONTROLLED THE AUTOPEN CONTROLLED THE PRESIDENCY,” the Oversight Project wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Whether or not you’re a fan of the president’s signature social media style, he is nevertheless correct that both these scandals are incredibly concerning and need further investigation. You talk about a “threat to Democracy,” there are two for you right there.
