Smoke could be seen for miles over Merseyside this morning after a fire broke out at the docks in Sefton. Firefighters rushed to the scene ata Alexandra Docks in Bootle at around 7.30am on Monday, April 28.
Four fire engines and a number of police cars are at the scene, the ECHO reports, while no workers are being allowed on the site. Traffic is being diverted away from the area as plumes of thick smoke can be seen all over Liverpool.
