Bryson DeChambeau makes feelings clear after being snubbed by Rory McIlroy at Masters

Bryson DeChambeau has insisted he’s got no issue with Rory McIlroy, despite saying the Northern Irishman ‘didn’t talk to him once’ during the Masters on Sunday.

McIlroy and DeChambeau were the final pairing of the day at Augusta, with both men in with a shot of glory.

But it was the Briton who ended up reigning supreme, with the golfer able to fend off competition from Justin Rose to secure the first green jacket of his career.

After the day’s drama, DeChambeau said that McIlroy ‘didn’t talk’ to him once at Augusta as he focused on clinching glory.

Now, the American has insisted there’s no issue between the pair and that there was no ‘slight’ involved.

Speaking to Athlon Sports, the LIV Golf star said: “He was just being stoic the whole day; there was nothing more. I was like, he just didn’t talk to me. It wasn’t a slight; there’s no beef or anything.

“It was like what Tiger [Woods] did to Tony [Finau back in 2019].

“It’s the same combo, but it wasn’t meant to be in a bad way, and that’s how things happen.
