Fox News reports,
“ABC, NBC and CBS slap Trump with 92% negative coverage as 100th day of second term approaches, study finds.”
92.2 percent negative, to be exact.
If I’m doing my internet math correctly, today is the 98th day since Trump took office for his second term as President. The magic Day 100 will occur on Wednesday.
Here’s the part of the media study that I find most amazing. Fox News adds from the study’s authors,
Eight years ago, using the identical methodology, we found Trump was blasted with 89% negative coverage at the hands of these networks during the first weeks of his first term.
As we hit Day 100, legacy media are desperate to declare Trump 2.0 to already be a failure. But as I go about my day-to-day life, I just don’t see it. Perhaps my optimism arises from seeing the first signs of spring finally arriving here at the 45th Parallel.
Or, perhaps, because the stock market (S&P 500 index) managed to eke out a gain at the close of trading. The market has moved steadily upward for the past week straight and is up over 8 percent for the past twelve months.
But, then again, I woke up this morning to the sound of birds chirping.
