Two men have been arrested after police reported a stabbing in Folkestone, Kent. Kent Police responded to the incident at a private residence on Firs Lane at 10.45am on Friday, where a man in his 50s was left with serious injuries.
The victim was rushed to a London hospital for treatment after sustaining injuries consistent with a stab wound. Shortly after the incident, police stopped a vehicle in the Dymchurch area and apprehended two men, aged 45 and 40, in connection with the assault. Both men are currently being held in custody.
It is understood that all parties involved knew each other and police do not believe there is a wider threat to the public.
Investigations are ongoing as officers remain at the scene to establish the circumstances surrounding the assault.
