…to our Christian friends and readers.
I wasn’t sure what to say about Easter this year, so I searched our archives to see what I have written in the past. I found that in most years there was a news hook. Usually, the news was bad, involving attacks on Christians around the globe. This year, that doesn’t seem to be happening. Maybe there is a positive trend here that I hadn’t focused on.
In 2016, I was offline on Easter, or maybe in transit, visiting one of my daughters in Australia. Scott was kind enough to repost my Easter greeting from the year before. We were tuned into the alliance of Christians and Jews before it became fashionable, and long before anti-Semitism began the comeback that we are now seeing.
So this year, I will just say Happy Easter, and leave it at that. Best wishes to all for a blessed holiday.
