Democrats court the approval of their cadres with calls for resistance and insurrection. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker chooses his words carefully, but you get the message. It’s time to rumble. In Pritzker’s case, we should recognize it as a call for massive resistance. Pritzker not only fears no condemnation, he seeks to distinguish himself among Democrats looking for a leader.
Pritzker calls for mass protests and disruption – “Republicans cannot know a moment of peace,” he says, swaying their portraits will one day be put in museums “reserved for tyrants and traitors” https://t.co/BBBuL1Uz9O

Tom Bevan observes that Pritzker loved one-man rule as long as he was exercising it, but hypocrisy is not the most serious offense with which he should be charged.
Tyrants and traitors? This rotund hypocrite signed FORTY-ONE consecutive emergency orders during COVID to give himself unlimited powers to keep businesses and schools closed. https://t.co/c35xRzagzS https://t.co/J4gqYaQX8K

The underlying message of Pritzker’s call for “disruption” is that he is running for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination. Heavy!
