Morrisons launches new deal giving customers a free sweet treat in its cafés

Morrisons is treating customers to a free doughnut with any hot drink purchase in its cafés nationwide as part of a special spring promotion.

The offer runs now until Sunday, April 27, giving shoppers the perfect excuse to take a break and enjoy a moment of indulgence.

Customers can claim their complimentary doughnut when purchasing any refillable hot drink, including tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

The spring treat is available in all Morrisons Cafés across the country, providing a sweet accompaniment to customers’ favourite beverages.

Freshly baked daily by Morrisons’ expert bakers, the doughnuts have proven to be a customer favourite. Last year, shoppers consumed over 67 million doughnuts from Morrisons bakeries.

This impressive figure amounts to more than 336 tonnes of doughnuts – equivalent to the weight of 210,000 cars.

In addition to the doughnut offer, Morrisons has partnered with Kellogg’s to provide free breakfast options for families.

Customers can receive a free bowl of cereal and a portion of fruit when they ask for a ‘Kellogg’s Breakfast’ in any Morrisons Café.

This promotion also ends on April 27. The ‘Kellogg’s Breakfast’ initiative serves as a cost-effective way to help families during the school holidays.

Both children and adults can take advantage of this offer, making it an inclusive promotion for all café visitors.

The ‘Kellogg’s Breakfast’ offer allows diners to choose from popular cereals including Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies or Coco Pops.

Shoppers can select their preference of dairy or non-dairy milk to accompany their cereal. The free portion of fruit includes options of bananas, apples or oranges, all available from café counters.

This comes as research reveals that two in five parents feel anxious about keeping their children fed during school holidays.

The initiative aims to help families who may be feeling financial pressure due to the absence of school breakfast clubs.

The promotion is available across all 396 Morrisons Cafés nationwide, providing accessible support throughout the Easter break.
