Big law firms have become a pillar of the institutional Left, but winds of change are blowing.
A case in point is Skadden Arps, a large and prominent New York law firm. A young woman named Rachel Cohen, most likely a junior associate, sent an email in which she said she would leave Skadden if a series of demands were not met. Basically, she wanted Skadden to assert itself as a leftist, anti-Trump organization. Instead of complying, the firm accepted Cohen’s conditional resignation:
Entitled liberal associate makes enormous political demands of Skadden Arps’ leadership and gets immediately put on leave

Sweet. Law firms seem to be moving in a less political direction. More broadly, perhaps companies of all types will become more resistant to being bullied by junior employees.
